MINISTERS INDUCTED

METHODIST CHURCH CHANGES The Rev. Angus Bean, who has come to Auckland after a ministry of six years in Invercargill, was inducted as minister of the Mount Albert Methodist Church on Thursday evening before a large congregation. The service was conducted by the Rev. Ernest Drake, chairman of the Auckland district, and Dr. C. H. Laws, principal of the Methodist College, addressed the minister and congregation. Mr. J. E. Astley, circuit steward, welcomed the new minister on behalf of the congregation, and assured him of co-opera-tion in his work. Mr. Bean expressed his thanks for the warm welcome and for the assurance of co-operation. The Rev. S. J. Warren was inducted to the charge of the Mount Eden Methodist Church this week. The Rev. E. Drake officiated, and addresses we re given by Mr. A. Peak and Mr. E. A, Pearce.
