Lawson Marsh will be the preacher at both the morning and evening services of the St. Paul’s Church, Devonport Morning and evening services will be conducted at the Edendale Presbyterian Church, Balmoral Road, and tho Somervell Memorial Church, Kemuera. • • * Tho Rev. George Frost, tho new minister of St. John’s Methodist * hurcli, Ponsonby Road, will conduct both services on Sunday. At the evening service Mr. Dalton will give the sacred solo, "Behold I Stand and Knock.” * * * Tho Ilarrv Dawson campaign will cummenco at the Grange Road Baptist Church tomorrow evening Mr. Dawson is a visitor from Sydney and he has been very successful as an evangelist in Australia. The meetings will L»e held from April 27 till May 11, when they will close with a united mothers’ day service under the auspices of the United Mount Eden Ministers’ Association. • * * A citizens’ Anzac service will be held in the Pitt Street Methodist Church on Sunday evening. The Rev. W. Walker w ill speak on “Qualities Which Characterised the Anzacs.” Solos will i*e sung by Alias Jean Buttle and by Air. Frank Sutherland. Miss Doris Alesser will recite. Mrs. Philpott will speak on “The Stewardship For God’’ at the 7 p.m. service of the Spiritual Scientists’ Church, Mackelvie Street. * * * A social will be held tonight at the Progressive Church of Spiritualists, Alma Street, Newmarket. Tomorrow at 7 p.m. Mr. Vining will speak. “The Appearance of the Saviour” will be the subject taken by Mr. J. E. A. Gates at the International Bible Students’ service. • * * Air. Douglas Nelson will speak at the Y.M.C.A.s men’s meeting on Sunday afternoon. m * * Air. H. F. Robinson will take “Detachment” as his subject for the morning service at tho Auckland Higher Thought Temple. Air. AI. Walker will preach in the evening. Addresses and a concert will be given during the week. * * * The Rev. f E. T. Olds will conduct the morning service of the Methodist Central Mission, Airedale Street, while an evangelistic service will be held in the evening. * * * The Rev. R. C. Roberts will conduct a special Anzac service at the Mount Eden Oong-egationai Church. The subject for the address will be “The old Soldier and tho Young Recruit.” The evening sermon will be “The Victory That Has Been Won.” • * * “The Christian’s Career” will be the subject taken by the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher at* the morning service of the Beresford Street Congregational Church. At 7 p.m. he will speak on “The Life of Joseph.” • * • The Christadelphians will hold a fellowship meeting in the morning and a service in the evening. The First Church of Christ. Scientist* will be addressed on “Probation After Death.”
