HERNE BAY BRIDE HAS GOWN OF IVORY GEORGETTE AND LACE

ATTENDANT MAID IN LILAC McMillan —channon On Wednesday afternoon the marriage took place at All Saints’ Church, Ponsonby. of Xellie, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Channon, of Islington Hoad, Herne Bay, to Cedric, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. X. McMillan, of Avondale. The Rev. W. Averin performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dainty frock of white georgette and silk lace, which dipped to the ankles at the sides. The long tulle veil was arranged with a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums and carnations. Miss X. Valvoi was the bridesmaid and wore a frock of mauve georgette with an uneven hemline and a headdress of tulle to match her frock. She carried a bouquet of pink dahlias and carnations. The little flower girl was Lawn Girvan, who wore a frock of blue and pink georgette, and carried a small silver basket of delphiniums. Mr. K. J. Bowden carried out the duties of best man and Mr. A". Bowden was groomsman. .After the ceremony, a reception was held in Nairn's Tea Booms, where Mrs. Channon received her guests wearing a navy blue frock with a smart fawn bar. Mrs. McMillan was in a frock of black marocain and furs.
