A LARGE FAMILY Mrs. Nad a Daritsch, a Hungarian woman, is the mother o£ 29 children. She was married at the age of 13, and when she was 14 her first child was born. Recently she was chosen to accompany a team of lecturers through the country districts of Hungary in connection with the new Government scheme to reward the parents of large families. She was paid £3 a week, and had merely to sit on a platform—a mute example of perfect health after having providsd the State with 29 useful citizens.
