MEETING AT SUNSHINE HOUSE

LADIES’ AUXILIARY

The monthly meeting of the Ladies' Auxiliary was held on Thursday afternoon at Sunshine House, Nelson Street. There was a good attendance of members. Mrs. W. St Pratt, in the absence through, illness of Mrs. X. E. Ferner, occupied the chair. A letter was received from Mrs. Ferner regretting her inability to attend, but stating she was making satisfactory progress. Arrangements were discussed for the forthcoming collection on May 30. Forget-Me-Not Day. The announcement that the Ladies’ Auxiliary had paid the final instalment of £IOO of the £I,OOO incurred for the building of the solarium was received with applause. At the close of the meeting afternoon tea was served by the committee.
