REGENT’S NEXT CHANGE
TWO BIG TALKIES Richard Dix will be seen and heard at the Regent Theatre shortly in "The Love Doctor,” his third all-talking picture for Paramount. In this picture, Dix plays the part of Dr. Gerald Sumner, specialist in heart troubles, who, in the hope that one day a patient will arrive, spends his time playing tennis and golf. He has two leading ladies. June Collyer, who will be remembered for her performances in "The River of Romance” and "Illusion,” plays the part of Virginia Moore, while Miriam Seegar, who was recently seen in "Fashions in Love,” plays the part of Grace Tyler. Others in the cast include Morgan Farley, Winifred Harris, Lawford Davidson and Gale Henry. A second big talking attraction will be shown on the same programme "Love Comes Along,” starring Bebe’ Daniels. This picture was made by Miss Daniels immediately after her succes in "Rio Rita.” and introduces the star as a stranded chorus girl in South American working her way as a singer in cafes. It is said to be one of the most tuneful and delightful of productions.
