McDOUGALL AND LUNDYN FIT GOOD EXHIBITION EXPECTED ‘'Scotty” McDougall, of Canada, and Alex Lundyn, of Finland, both report themselves to be in the pink of condition for the bout on Monday evening, when they will open the 1930 wrestling season in Auckland. Although both men will be making their first appearances in Nek Zealand, enough has been heard of their performances before reaching these shores to make the match a really attractive proposition, and to assure a thrilling exhibition.

The two men have had a variety of experience- against all classes of opponents. In 700 matches McDougall has gathered a wealth of experience that makes him a formidable opponer Lundyn, wrestling in Finland, 1 r ia, China, Japan and Australia, also has a wide knowledge, and as each man is determined that his first appearance in Auckland shall be a winning one, the match should hold plenty of interest for the public. In addition an excellent programme of amateur preliminary bouts has been arranged as follows: —Webb v. Anderson, Naylor v. Clarke, D. Smith v. A. Newton, C. J. Jones v. Passmore, Cornish v.
