BIG PRICE FOR BROTHER TO VERTIGERN DOMINION YEARLINGS SOLD United P.A.—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, Friday. At the thoroughbred yearling sales yesterday, Mr, J. E. Brien paid 2,ooogns for a Rossendale—Pansy colt, brother to Panola and Vertigern. Mr. J. Scobie secured a Heroic—Potpouri colt for 2,025gn5. Mr. lan Duncan, of New Zealand sold 14 yearling for 2,545gn5. The best price was 575gns for a Tea Tray— Afterglow colt, which was bought by Mr. W. Nicholls. Wright, Stephenson and Company, Limited, of New Zealand, bought a Polyphonic—Derrilith Ally for lOOgns.
