THE PRICE OF WOOL
INVESTIGATION BY EXPERTS CAPETOWN, April 24. Co-operation between South Africa and Australia in the world’s wool markets was definitely established at a conference at Capetown when Mr. W. P. Devereux, representing Australian woolgrowers, met the South African Wool Council. Pending receipt of a report from the Wool Council’s committee, it was decided to make economic investigations overseas into the differences between prices realised by the farmer and those paid by wool consumers for the manufactured article.
