TRACED BY ACCOUNT FORM COMMITTAL FOR SENTENCE From Our Own Correspondent PUKEKOHE, Wednesday. Appearing in the Pukekohe Court today before Messrs. C. K. Lawrie and D. Jamieson. J.P.’s. a young man pleaded guilty to breaking and entering a dwelling at Paerata on February 6 and stealing £3 13s. Accused, Henry Arthur Esdale, was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. G. Watt, a sharemilker, told the court that he locked the backdoor of his house and placed the key on a ledge. On his return he discovered the door unlocked and £3 13s missing from a wallet left in a coat pocket. There was a faulty lock attached to the door. Two railway porters testified to having seen Esdale and another man leave the vicinity of the Paerata railway station, at 3.30 and walk toward the house referred to. They were seen returning at 4.30. Esdale gave a statement admitting his guilt, and saying he found the door of the house unlocked.

He tvas remanded in custody.
