GRAND THEATRE

“Innocents of Paris,” which has been delighting audiences at the Grand Theatre recently, will have its final presentation there today. This was Maurice Chevalier’s first talking and singing production and is an undoubted success. Prom Saturday next the Grand will present a double-feature talkie bill. The first attraction is “Dangerous Curves,” an exciting circus story full of thrills, with Clara Bow and Richard Arlen as trapeze artists. The second big attraction is “The Man I Love,” a fast-moving boxing story with a beautiful romance between Mary Brian and Richard Arlen. Both are all-talkies. Guy Oliver, screen character actor, plays his 135th sheriff role in “The Light of Western Stars,” an all-talk-ing Paramount Western, starring Richard Arlen. Oliver is cast as “Drip” Jarvis, a crooked sheriff in the picture. Mary Brian plays the feminine lead.
