REGINALD DANDY’S SUCCESS “Strange w'orld,” says John Garrick. “Here I am, an Englishman, playing the role of a Norwegian in an American picture.” The production is Arthur Hammerstein’s musical drama called “Bride 66,” for United Artists, lor which Rudolph Friml composed the music. Garrick, who has been cast for the leading role, has become known in Hollywood as ‘The Prince of Wales of Pictures,” because of his resemblance to the Prince. His legal name is Reginald Dandy. In Auckland he played leading roles in “Rose Marie,” and in Australia “The Desert Song” and “Katja.” In Hammerstein’s opinion Garrick has one of the finest tenor-robusto voices of the stage today. Jean Arthur was born in New York of American nationality. She weighs 1051 b, is sft 3in tall and has blue eyes and brown hair. She is unmarri-Jd and was bom on October 17.
