INVESTITURE HELD
INSIGNIA OF KNIGHTHOOD PRESENTED CEREMONY AT WELLINGTON Press Association WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The Governor-General, Lord Bledls«oe, held ail investiture at Government House, Wellington, this evening, at which he conferred the honour of knighthood upon the Chief Justice. Sir Michael Myers, investing him with the insignia of a Knight Commander of the Order of St. Michael and St. George. He also presented to Sir Thomas Sidey the Royal Letters Patent conferring upon him the dignity of a Knight Bachelor, and presented the msiauiia of Companion of the. Order of St. Michael and St George to Mr. E. W. Kane and Mr. Robert Parker. The investiture was followed by a reception at which a large number of guests were presented to their Excellencies.
