Resulting from a dispute concerning the distribution of prizes at a grand rally of Scouts from all provinces, lads from Tsinan and Hupeh, numbering 300, rioted at Nanking. The outbreak was not quelled until the police got between the contending parties. Thirty were injured and three died in hospital. Communist influence is believed to be responsible for the outbreak.
