Mr. M. TT. Wynyard left for Wellington last evening: to attend a meeting of the Main Highways Board in Wellington. The Rev. H. M. McLean, of Canada, who has been relieving at the Presbyterian Church at Helensville, left for Christchurch yesterday. The Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, who opened the New Zealand Law conference in Auckland yesterday, returned to Wellington last evening. Dr. A. H. Driver, formerly of Otago, who has been in charge of the London Missionary Society’s hospital at Jammulamadugu, India, for the past eight years, is visiting Auckland on holiday. The Rev. C. B. W. Seton, of Otahuhu, who became ill suddenly when about to conduct a service at Panmu ro on April 7, is now convalescent, and has gone to Whangarei. HOTEL REGISTER Grand. —Mr. C. R.
