THREE MAIDS IN PEACH TAFFETA ATTEND EPSOM BRIDE
PRETTY EVENING CEREMONY BRAMWEU SANDS A pretty wedding took place on Saturday evening in St. Mary's Cathedral, Parnell, the Rev. Canon Fancourt officiating, when Thelma Viola Sands only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. p. j Sands, of Epsom, was married to Mr. Wallace Bramwell, of Hastings, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Bramwell, of Feilding. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, to tire strains of the wedding march, wore a charming gown of ivory georgette, with tightfitting bodice ornamented with hand embroidery and polka-dotted net. The skirt, which was of alternate bands of net and georgette, lengthened toward the back, where it hung in graceful folds, reaching the ankles. She also wore an ivory veil of Honiton lace, arranged Russian fashion, and finished with orange blossoms. The bride was attended by Miss Madge McMaster, Miss Eileen Kirk, and Miss Madge Hopwood as bridesmaids. They wore frocks exactly similar of peach faille taffeta, with long skirts dipping at the back, large bows defining the waistline, and rose felt hats turning back off their faces. They carried shower bouquets to tone. Mr. D, Pryde acted as best man. with Mr. N. Bramwell and Mr. E. Sands as groomsmen. After the ceremony. a reception was held at the Domain Tea Kiosk, where Mrs. F. Sands received her guests wearing a frock of reseda moire velvet, with hat to tone. Mrs. TV. Bramwell wore a mushroom georgette and lace gown, and felt hat to match. Both carried bouquets of autumn tinted flowers.
