COMMEMORATIVE SERVICE AT 11 A.M., TOWN HALL. A Service, commemorative of the New 1 Zealanders who fell in the Great War, will be held on FRIDAY, April 25, 1930, at the Town Hall, Auckland, at 11 o’clock a.m. The Service will be conducted by Tils Worship the Mayor of Auckland (presiding) Rev. Geo. Budd, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand Rev, Dr. J. J. North, Principal New Zealand Baptist College Rev. W. W. Averill, Vicar All Saints’ Church, Ponsonby. Doors will be open at 10.15 a.m. for admission of next-of-kin, who, upon application, may obtain admission tickets to the Gallery from the Secretary, Returned Soldiers’ Association, City Chambers, Queen Street, Auckland. Seats will be reserved for ticketholders until 10.45 a.m., when the public will be admitted. The Ground Floor will be reserved for Returned Soldiers and their wives, and Veterans. The Concert Chamber will be available to accommodate those who are unable to gain admission to the large hall. A Loud Speaker will be installed in the Chamber and the Service will also be broadcast outside the Town Hall. CENOTAPH —WAR MEMORIAL MUSEUM. A Ceremony will be held at the Cenotaph in front of the War Memorial Museum at 3 o’clock p.m., when official wreaths will be deposited; this will be followed by the laying of wreaths by Regimental Units, next-of-kin and Citizens. Seats (not exceeding 100 in number) will be placed within the Cenotaph Enclosure for the use of elderly Mothers of fallen Soldiers, tickets for which may be obtained from the Secretary of the Returned Soldiers’ Association. WAIKUMETE CEMETERY. A Service, presided over by the Chairman, Glen Eden Town Board, will be held at the Soldiers’ Memorial, Waikumete Cemetery, at 3 o’clock p.m., when the Rev. J. W. Shaw will deliver an Address. A suitable train service will be arranged between Auckland and Glen Eden. SECONDARY SCHOOLS A Service will also be held at the Town Hall at 1.30 p.m. for Scholars attending the various Secondary Schools in Auckland and District. —*“ conducted by Councillor A.
