AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIPS Press Association IX VERCARGILL. Monday. The finals of the Southland amateur golf championship and junior championship were played over 36 hole* at Otatara today. In the senior match, C. A. Masters completed th‘ first round in 72, and was then 7 up on J. E. Cathill. He had no difficulty winning, 9 and 8. The junior championship was won by John Margan. Tuatapere.
