CANDIDATES BUSY TONIGHT IN PARNELL REINFORCEMENTS COMING After a respite for the holidays, the three contenders for the vacant Parnell seat will be busy on the hustings this evening. Mr. W. P. Endean (Reform) will speak at the Public Works camp at Purewa. Mr. Alan Donald (United) will be at St. Heliers, and Mr. T. Bloodworth (Labour) will meet electors at the Somervell Church Hall, Remuera. Between now and the poll, which takes place on May 7, all three candidates will be supported by members of the parties they espouse. The Hon. G. W. Forbes, DeputyLeader of the. Government, will arrive in Auckland tomorrow to speak in support of Air. Donald. Efforts are also being made to secure further Ministerial reinforcements. Prominent Reformers will also figure actively in the campaign during the :ast week or so. The Leader of the Opposition, the Right Hon. J. G. Coates, is at present in North Auckland. and it is considered probable that he will address the electors. As soon as he is free from the annual conference of the New Zealand Labour Party in Wellington, Air. H. E. Holland, Leader of the Labour Party, proposes to come to Auckland. Air. P. Fraser, Labour member for Wellington Central, and All*. W. Nash, Labour member for Hutt, are also announced to speak in support of Air. Bloodworth toward the close of the contest.
