FALSE ALARM IN ELLIOTT ST.
A fire engine dashed through Darby Street into Elliott Street yesterday afternoon, just as the cit”" theatres were emptying. The noise of the siren attracted a large crowd, but when the engine drew up before the warehouse of Abbott, Armstrong and Howie, the alarm was found to be a false one
