LARGE SHED GUTTED

INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED Incendiarism is suspected as the cause of a fire which gutted a large shed in the orchard of Mr. R. L Cleland, Stanley Point. Devouport yesterday afternoon. Miss D. Cleland and Miss R. McClregor saw a column of smoke rising from the orchard, and found that a large shed used as a fowlhouse was j blazing. The Devonport Fire Bri- | gnde was quickly on the scene, but i could not save the shed. A quantity of valuable rope, tools and boating equipment was lost. It is believed that larrikins, with easy access from the beach, were j responsible for the fire.
