According to a Bradford correspondent, the stoppage of the machinery in the Yorkshire wool and textile industry is far from being as complete as was at one time feared. Many operrtives are still working, and consequently there is fair consumption of wool. What Is more, the Indications encourage employers to believe the dispute will not be of long duration so far as the great majority of the workers are concerned, because more and more the overlookers have begun to question the wisdom of challenging the recommendations of the Board of Inquiry, and are steadily drifting back to work on the proffered rate of 'ages. Therefore, it is hoped that in the rery near future the ordinary course °f trading will be resumed.
