CONTEST FOR PARNELL

HON. G. W. FORBES TO SPEAK CAMPAIGN ACTIVITIES The deputy-leader of the Government, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, who will arrive in Auckland on Wednesday morning, will enhance interest in tho Parnell by-election campaign by delivering addresses in support of Mr. Alan Ronalds candidature. The Minister will remain here until Saturday morning, and, although it is unknown how many meetings he will address, he is expected to speak on Wednesday and Thursday eveningl- - Forbes will also make a short stay here on his return from Nortlx Auckland on May 1. All three candidates will resume campaign addresses tomorrow evening. Mr. W. P. Endean, Reform, will be at tha Public Works camp at Purewa, Mr. Ronald. United, at St. Heliers theatre, and Mr. T. Blood worth. Labour, at Somervell Church Hall, Remuera.
