JOCKEY INJURED

HORSE FALLS AT HURDLE From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Sunday. Serious injury was received by an apprentice jockey, James McLaughlin. !fc.ged 16, when schooling the horse L’arfait Amour at Te Rapa Racecourse on Saturday.

The horse slipped and fell at a hurdle, and McLaughlin was thrown heavily. He suffered concussion, and was admitted to the Waikato Hospital in a serious condition.

McLaughlin is employed by Mr. A Tinker, of Te Rapa
