TE POI CARNIVAL From Our Oxen Correspondent MATAMATA, Today. The annual sports meeting was held at Te Poi in fine weather, and before a good attendance, on Saturday. W. T. Maxted (Waharoa) won the Bush Cup for most points in the 100 yards, 220 yards, and 440 yards. Added interest in the junior events was caused by the competition for the Herbert Smith trophies, which were donated by the trustees.
