TENTH LEAVES £2,797,000 United P.A.—By Telegraph —Copyright LONDON, Thursday. The will of the late Major Coats, the tenth member of his family to die a millionaire, has been proved at £2,797,000, which has all been left to his widow. The death duty amounts to £1,124,000. Discussing the new death duties in the House of Commons. Mr. Philip Snowden. Chancellor of the Exchequer, said that the profiteering fortunes made during the war were now coming in for estate duties. "I am going to get some of that back,” he declared.
