NEW LYNN WEDDING

BRIDE CARRIES CAMELLIAS AND ROSES DALE—GLOVER The marriage of Emily, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Glover, of New Lynn, to Charles, youngest son of Mr. and the late Mrs. Dale, of Pukekohe, was celebrated recently at St. Thomas’s Church, New Lynn. The Rev. Mr. Jacks performed the ceremony and Miss Henderson presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of white satin and silver lace. Her beautifully embroidered tulle veil was caught to the head with a coronet of orange blossom and pearls and she carried a bouquet of camellias a nd roses. Miss Alice Monks, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid and wore a frock of pale pink georgette trimmed with satin. Her bouquet was of pink asters and roses. Little Lorna Hards acted as flower-girl and wore a pretty frock of pale pink and green georgette. She carried a silver basket of pale pink camellias and roses. The best man was Mr. J. Dale, brother of the bridegroom. " To receive her guests the bride’s mother wore a navy bengaline frock relieved with touches of lemon and a silk crinoline hat to match. She carried a posy to tone with her frock.
