CIVIC WINTER GARDEN
DANCING ON MONDAY EVENING The first of a series of special cabaret nights to be arranged by the Civic Winter Garden Cabaret management during the coming winter will be held on Easter Monday evening. Dancing will be enjoyed from 10.30 p.m. to 2 a.m. to the best of music, and there will also be novelties galore. Working before the camera in a temperature of more than 120 degrees was a frequent experience of the Universal Company filming the powerful drama, “Three Godfathers.” The company spent six weeks in the great Mojave desert during the height of the summer season in order to secure authentic locations for the exciting scenes of the picture. The notable cast includes Charles Bickford, Raymond Hatton, Fred Kohler, Fritzi Ridgeway and Marie Alba.
