N.Z. FUR BOARD FORMED

MARKETING IN HAND The formation of a New Zealand Fur Board, which has been under consideration for some time past, has now been completed. It comprises seven members, and has been brought into existence to “promote the production and marketing of rabbit wool and pelts.” The seven members* are: South Island: Messrs. W. G. Wright, Spreydon, president of the Canterbury Rabbit Club; J. Mclntosh. Chat to Creek, Central Otago; B. Volckman. Leeston. North Island: Messrs. L. Driscoll, Lower Hutt; R. Beale, New Plymouth, president of the Taranaki Rabbit Club: W. S. Ferguson, Wanganui, president of the Wanganui Rabbit Club: Arthur Sainsbury, president of the Auckland Fur Club, organiser. The board has already invited offers for the New Zealand output of rabbit wool and spelts.
