DEATH IN OFFICE

MAN’S STRANGE COLLAPSE Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, Today. Claude Vincent, a painter, aged about 40, living at Grande Vue Boardinghouse, New Plymouth, died on the floor ot a garage next door to the house last night. Vincent had been in good spirits when he came home from work at about six o'clock, and had eaten a good tea. Toward seven o'clock he walked into the kitchen and made an announcement to his fellow-boarders. After throwing down a bottle he went upstairs to his bedroom, wrote a note and then came down and went into the garage nearby. He asked an employee to ring up a friend. Vincent staggered and walked into the office, and then reeled to the floor in convulsions. A doctor was sent for, but when he arrived with the police Vincent was dead.
