“THE CRUCIFIXION”
PERFORMANCE AT NORTEICQTE The sacred cantata. “The Crucifixion was sung in St. John’s Anglican Church, Northcote, last evening by the choir, which was assisted by members of other churches in the district, under the conductorship of Mr. 11. Wilson. There was a crowded congregation. The soloists were:—Mr. F. Swinbank. tenor; Rev. F. W. Wilkes, bass; and Mr. W. K. Stewart, bass. The offertory, as in previous years, was on behalf of the Jerusalem East Mission.
