HOKIANGA REFLOATED

DAY ON MUD-BANK The auxiliary schooner Hokianga was refloated last night after being a day on a mudbank in the Manukau Harbour. She left for Hokianga at S o’clock this morning. The vessel struck on Tuesday night when she had just left for Hokianga, and punts were busy yesterday unloading her cargo. The Hokianga is a vessel of 271 tons, owned by A. G. Frankham, Ltd. She was built in 1928 to replace the auxiliary schooner Isabella de Fraine, which capsized on the Hokianga Bar.. She is equipped with twin Diesel engines.
