PRIMARY SCHOOLS HOLD ANNUAL SPORTS FAST, KEEN CONTESTS Today was a big day for the children of Auckland's primary schools. Thu ; annual combined sports were held on j the Domain, and although the overcast ! sky and the occasional showers were disappointing, keen, fast racing ensured I the children's enjoyment. One of the most noteworthy peri formances was that of a fine young j runner, T. Savidan, of Takapuna. He !is a brother of J. "\V. Savidan, and today lie broke his own mile record by covering the distance in 5.1645.
