POWER BOARD ELECTION

EIGHTEEN CANDIDATES

Eighteen candidates have been nominated for 12 seats, which will become vacant this month by the retirement of members, on the Auckland Electric-Power Board. When the nominations closed at noon today, 11 of the retiring members were nominated for re-election, together with seven other candidates. The election will be held on April 30.
