ADULT EDUCATION
W.E.A. WINTER SESSION I To restore the balance of a wider life is the main object of the Workers’ Educational Association. In accordance with this aim the usual wide range of studies is offered by the W.E.A. for its coming 1 winter session. There will be classes in economics and economic history, psychology, international relations, nature study, poetry, drama, music and art. The experiment of an advanced economics class will be continued, the subject for the year being “Public Finance.” In addition classes will be conducted at Takapuna, Devonport, Papatoetoe, and applications from other centres will always be considered. For country centres there is available a box scheme which obviates the necessity of a tutor. " A further important development is that of broadcasting talks. The full activities of the association will begin after Easter, but there will be a public lecture on April 24, when Rev. W. G. Monckton. M.A., will speak on “Naval Disarmament.”
