GRAND THEATRE

IThe enjoyable comedy-drama, “The Shop-Worn Angel,” will be screened at the Grand Theatre for only a few more days. This is a sound and music synchronised picture of New York, starring Nancy Carroll, Gary Cooper and Paul Lukas, with a striking sequence at the end when a full wedding ceremony is carried out in dialogue. On Easter Saturday the Grand Theatre will present “Innocents of Paris,” a most tuneful production starring the popular Maurice Chevalier. The catchy song, “Louise,” is featured in this picture.
