« From Our Own Correspondent TaURANGA, Today. Saturday was the closing day for the season for seven-foot yachts. The championship race for the Robertson Cup was held. It resulted as follows: Roy Pemberton’s Vestal, 1; R. Mackell’s Petrel. 2; I. Young’s 1.X.L.. 3; Ron. Pemberton’s Dottrell, 4. Thus the cup falls to Vestal. ** . * Last week the Rowing Club completed competitions for the DufT Cup four oars, and the Harris Pair-oar Cup. For the Duff Cup the contest was between C. Denniston (str). J. H. Plummer, J. Iluthmance, S. Smith and P. Williams (coxj, winners, and W. Turner (str), J. Pickworth. T. J. Plummer, G. Armitage and S Anderson (cox). The final for the Harris Cup was won by J. Huthnance and G. Cameron, who defeated W. Turner and C- Tovey.
