NEW EXPRESSES BRING ROTORUA CLOSER TEN STOPS ELIMINATED The new luxury express which will sun on the Auekland-Rotorua line j.fter Easter will be run as Limited t xpresses in both directions. A number of stops have been eliminated, and the trains will leave each terminal at. TO.IO a.m., arriving at Auckland at 4 p.m., and at Rotorua at *1.15 p.m. The run will thus take about six hours in each direction. On the outward journey the train vill stop only at Newmarket. Pukekohe, Frankton, Hamilton, Morrinsville, Matamata and Putaruru. The Mops are reduced from 17 to 7. A midc’ay meal will be served at Frankton, either way. The express is considered to be the classic train of the Dominion. A de luxe train, giving rapid transport, is justified by the fact that Rotorua is ■world-renowned and expresses on a jast schedule create a good impression on visitors. The trains will commence running on May 5.
