BRITISH AND FOREIGN BIBLE SOCIETY LORD BLEDISLOE’S INTEREST Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, has shown his interest in the work of the British and Foreign Bible Society by extending his patronage to the New Zealand branch of the organisation. The London committee of the society has invited the Archbishop of New Zealand, the Rt. ITev. A. W. Averill, to become one of its vice-presidents. The society, which is world-wide in its operations, has very few vice-presi-dents.
