BRIDE WEARS PRETTY PINK FROCK
MAIDS IN TURQUOISE BLUE SHIRES—RUDMAN Miss Gwen Rudman, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Rudman, of Mt. Eden, was married on Thursday evening to Air. S. Shires, of Whakahora. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Beck at St. Luke’s Church, Mount Albert, and Mr. A. E. E. Dodd was at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a wide ankle-length frock of flesh pink georgette, with a long tiglit-fitting bodice and flounced skirt. Her pale pink tulle veil was held in place with a silver Juliette cap. caught with pink orange blossom. The bridesmaids were Miss Winnie Todd and Miss Rona Rutherford, who wore turquoise blue satin frocks and silver Juliette caps. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. W. Rudman as best man, and Air. Rutherford was groomsman. Mrs. Rudman, mother of the bride, wore a frock of blue flowered taffeta.
