ONEHUNGA WEDDING

FROCK OF PALEST PINK SATIN BEAUTE RAWLINS—COWLEY A dainty frock of pale pink satin beaute was chosen by EElva, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Cowley, of Onehunga, for her marriage on Saturday afternoon at ru Onehunga Congregational Church, to Leslie, son of Mrs. and the late Mr. C. Rawlins, of Onehunga. Pastor Gordon Smith performed the ceremony. I ho bride, who was given away bj her brother, wore her frock anklelength, the full skirt falling from a straight bodice, finished at the waist with a girdle of pearls and from it strands of pearls fell to the hem in the front. Her shell-pink tulle veil was held in place by a coronet of pink orange blossom and she carried a sheaf of pale-pink roses and sweet-peas. Miss Scandrett, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid, and wore a pretty frock of shell-pink georgette, with a close-fitting bodice and a full frilled skirt which dipped to the ankles at the back. Her pink tulle head-dress was finished with pink and silver flowers and she carried a shower bo JS? uet in Shades of pink and mauve. -r> two little flower-girls, Doreen Rawlins, sister of the bridegroom and Shirley Jones, niece of the bride, wore pal© pink frocks with frilled skirts iigbUy trimmed with pink and mauve nbbons. They carried posies of pink and mauve flowers. Mr. Frank Cowley, brother of tile bride, carried out the duties of best man. At tho reception, which was held later, Airs. Cowley received her guests wearing a beige ensemble suit and a black tagel straw hat. Airs. Rawlins wore a blue figured crepe de chine frock relieved with fawn and a hat to tone.
