NUCULA IN STREAM.—The Royal Fuel Auxiliary tanker Nucula arrived in stream at 9.15 o'clock this morning from San Francisco with a full cargo of bulk oil for the Navy Department's tanks at Devonport She will wait in stream until H.M.S. Dunedin undocks tomorrow afternoon. Both ships will berth alongside Sheerlegs Wharf, the Nucula lying astern of the cruiser.

I TAMAROA HOME. —Cabled advice re- i ceived by L. 13. Nathan, Ltd., states that t the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s liner Tamaroa reached Southampton from I Wellington yesterday. THE WAIKAWA. —After loading r.l . Pacific Coast ports the Union Company a transpacific steamer Waikawa is scheduled to clear Los Angeles today for Auckland, Wellington and Australia. She is due at Auckland on May 10. KAITUNA LEAVES PORT KEMBLA. —Cabled news has been received by the Union Company that the Kaituna left Port Kembla at 5 p.m. on Wednesday last for Wellington. She is due there today. MAUI POMARE RETURNING.—Advice received from Spedding Ltd., states that the Government motor-ship Maui Pomare cleared Niue Island on Sunday for Dunedin. TARANAKI TO LOAD. —Now en route from London the Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-ship Taranaki will unload her general merchandise cargo in Australia and then come to New Zealand to load for England in May. PORT BRISBANE REPORTED. — The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Brisbane, which sailed from Lyttelton for London and Hamburg, via Montevideo, on March 22, is reported to have cleared Montevideo last Sunday. COPTIC IN BALLAST. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-ship Coptic is scheduled to leave London for New Zealand today in ballast. The vessel is coming to New Zealand to load produce for England. She is due about May 22. QUERCUS FROM NEW YORK.—Running under the auspices of the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, the steamer Quercus is to be dispatched from New York this month for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. WAIPAHI SAILS 11 A.M. —To load fruit for Auckland, the Union Company’s Island fruit steamer Waipahi is announced to sail at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning for Apia (.Samcfa). The vessel is now at King’s Wharf. NEW LIGHTHOUSE STEAMER NAMED. The Marine Department advises that its new lighthouse steamer to take the place of the Tutanekai, will be named the Matal. The new vessel is due out here about the end of October or early in November. THE CUMBERLAND. —Reported to have sailed from Curacao on April 9 the Federal Line steamer Cumberland is en route from New Zealand to Avonmouth, Cardiff, Liverpool and Glasgow She was dispatched from Wellington on March 15. BRUNSWICK. FROM LOS ANGELES. —The Atlantic Union Oil Company’s chartered tanker Brxxnswick is reported j to have cleared Los Angeles for New ; Zealand last Thursday. The vessel ia carrying bulk oil for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. WAIOTAPU CLEARS PAPEETE. The Union Company has received advice that the transpacific steamer Waiotapu cleared Papeete at 6.30 a.m. on Friday in continuation of her voyage from Pacific Coast ports to Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin and Australia. The Aorangi is due at Auckland on Sunday next. THE TOFU A. —The Union Company’s Island steamer Tofua arrived from Tonga Samoa and Fiji last evening. She is a*Central Wharf and is to sail on hex return trip to the islands at 11 o’clock on Saturday morning. The Maunganui arrived irom Wellington at G a.m. and the Makura from Auckland at 7 a.m Both vessels are to leave Sydney on Thursdav next for New Zealand, the Makura for Wellington and the Mauneranui for Auckland. They are due in New' Zealand on Monday morning next. EASTER ARRANGEMENTS. The Northern Company advises that owing to the Easter holidays the following vesse!s are to be dispatched from Auckland on Thursday, April 17:— Apanui, for Coroj mandel, at 4 p.m.; Claymore, for Kawau , Algie’s and Whangarei, at 7.30 p.m.’ j Rangitoto, for Thames, at 5.30 p.m.; Tanil ha for Paeroa, at midnight. KARETU AT BLUFF. —The Union Company’s Karetu. from Sydney, arrived at Bluff on Sunday afternoon. She was to leave again yesterday for Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington to complete discharge.
