The official opening of the Rotorua Golf Club’s links was held on Saturday in ideal golfing weather. There v.-as a large crowd present from all over the Dominion, Auckland being particularly well represented.
At the conclusion of play, the president, Mr. F. W. Wilkie, warmly welcomed members of the club and visitors. He mentioned that this year the club championships would be played at the end, instead of the middle of the season, this decision receiving evidence of approval.
