AUCKLAND TO PLAY VICTORIA COLLEGE STRONG TEAMS SELECTED During the Easter vacation the annual Speight Trophy cricket match between the Auckland and Victoria University Colleges will be played at Wellington. Every year these two colleges play for this trophy, and it is expected that this year a close and interesting garpe will eventuate, as both teams hold the place of runners-up in their respective competitions. Auckland is expected to make a bold bid to take back the trophy which Victoria has held since it was first presented. Last year's game was keenly contested, the result being an even draw after Auckland had led by a wide margin on the first innings. An endeavour was made to have the game played in Auckland this year, where the inter-university tournament and boat race are being held, but it was found impossible to arrange this. Following are the teams: Auckland. —A. M. Matheson, L. B Schnauer, P. E. Whitelaw, R. H. Brown. D. H. Lunn, J. T. Shanley, E. E. Bannister, R. E. Atacklow, F. Sutherland, Brew, A. N. Other.
