MOTOR-CYCLE IN FLAMES

Through tlie engine backfiring, a motor-cycle owned and ridden by Mr. Stanley Coggan, of Penryn lLoad, Mt. Eden,, caught fire at the top of Wellington Street yesterday morning. The City Fire Brigade attended, and with the aid of chemical extinguishers, quickly suppressed the outbreak. The machine escaped damage, except for the rear portion, which suffered slightly.
