COSTUME PARTY
HAPPY FUNCTION AT DEVONPORT FUNDS FOR DENTAL CLINIC The third, and last, of a series of children's dances in aid of the Devonport Dental Clinic brought a large number of children to the Parish Hall on Saturday evening. The entertainment was for the scholars of the upper standards, and Mr. J. Ciasparicli, headmaster of Stanley Bay School. was master of ceremonies, assisted by Mr. C. M., Browne and Mr. L. S. Bates. The grand parade excited much attention, figures from history solemnly pepping by, rubbing shoulders with jazz girls. Pierrettes, harem ladies, jesters, Indian chiefs, birds, animals .lowns, pirates and other folks in masquerade. Music was in tho hands of the Outlaws Dance Band. Most Comical. —Norman Watt, Pevonport, Absent-minded Professor. Best Historical.—Colin Mackie, Uevonport, Julius Caesar.
