Phar Lap Beats Amounis Easily
NIGHTMARCH THIRD WARWICK FARM MEETING United P.A. —By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, Sunday. The Warwick Farm meeting was held yesterday in fine weather and the course was in splendid order after rain. With Phar Lap. Amounis and Nightmarch saddled ua to contest the Chipping Norton Stakes, enormous interest was centred in the contest for the weight-for-age race. Phar Lap registered a brilliant performance, defeating - Amounis by more than two lengths. The two-year-old gelding Chemosli won the Fairfield Handicap, which made his fourth successive victory. High Disdain scored in the Liverpool Handicap, and that marked his third win in succession.

Nightmarch showed the way from the barrier and out of the straight. Phar Lap took charge at the back of the course and, drawing away, won comfortably by two and a-half lengths.
