RECEPTION TO AIRMEN
CIVIC FUNCTION TOMORROW The Mayor, Air. G. Baildon. invites citizens to meet Flying-Officers C. Kay and H. L. Piper, the New Zealand airmen who flew from England to Australia, at a civic reception in the council chamber. Town Hall, at noon tomorrow. Residents of the Mangere district, where Flying-Officer Kay’s parents reside, will hold a welcome gathering in the Mangere East Public Hall in the evening.
