BOGUS CHEQUE CHARGE Frank Markovini. a Czecho-Slovakian bricklayer, aged 22, was remanded C consent, at the Police Court this morning, until April 28. on a charge of obtaining money and goods by valueless cheque. “It is a very simple cast" said Detective-Sergeant Kelly. Accused was charged with obtaining £4 10s in money, and goods vaißtd at £1 from George Albert Ashley on December 24. bv means of a valueless cheque for £5 10s. Mr. Wiseman appeared for accused and bail was fixed at self, £25 and in one surety of £25.
