KHYBER PASS COLLISION
RUNNING-BOARDS LOCKED flight damage was done to two motor-cars in collision at 2.30 this afte&noon in Khyber Pass Road. A five-soater touring car was proceeding toward Symonds Street and was followed by a sedan, driven by a commercial traveller, who had just arrived from Wellington. The first car turned to the right into Claremont Street, forcing the sedan to turn with it to avoid hitting it on the driver’s side. The two cars locked running-boards and pulled up quickly. Crumpled mudguards and running-boards were the only parts damaged. Each car contained one passenger, but nobody was hurt.
